Job Description : RESUME WRITER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), you will be required to write high caliber and detailed resumes and cover letters for customers who are seeking a job/career. A Professional Resume Writer must have a talent and gift for reviewing, editing, proofreading, and writing impactful and profound resumes and cover letters that highlight clients in the best light to potential employers. Resume Writers must have strong interpersonal and communication skills that allow customers to communicate their career objective(s). A Resume Writer must be able to translate the information from a verbal conversation onto paper.
As a Resume Writer, you must have a clear understanding of how to correctly format resumes and edit them using Microsoft Word. Able to develop impressive and creative resumes that will highlight job seekers in the best light. A Resume Writer should fully understand proper usage of sentence structure and ensure resumes are free of grammatical errors. Must possess impeccable communication skills as you will be required to contact customers by phone and email to extract important information. A Resume Writer must be able to write powerful, advanced, premium, keyword and ATS optimized resumes and cover letters.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 4 years experience writing and editing resumes and cover letters for other large resume writing organization(s).
Understand how Application Tracking Software systems work and scan resumes.
Keyword optimization to ensure job seekers pass the ATS systems and land interviews.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Persuasive and creative in writing and editing resumes and cover letters.
Talent for developing high caliber resumes and cover letters for entry-level, mid-level, and executive-level clients.
Computer with internet access.
Able to clearly speak English.
Cell phone.
Ability to perform high-quality phone interviews with clients.
Show at least 5 “before” and 5 “after” examples of high-quality resumes and cover letters you have personally written for other customers.
RESUME WRITERS JOB DETAIL:
Work remotely (from home).
Write powerful, premium, detailed, comprehensive, keyword and ATS optimized resumes and cover letters for entry level to senior executive job seekers.
Call customers to do phone interviews.
Work and set your own hours according to customer demands (work around customers schedules).
PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Posses a Certified Professional Resume Writing (CPRW) certification.
Member of National Resume Writers Association (NRWA).
Member of Professional Association of Resume Writers (PARW).
Experienced in writing resumes and cover letters for at least 5 years.
Ability and talent for writing for over 40 of the major job industries.
Vast background writing resumes for C-suite and high level executives.
Skilled in developing high caliber resumes and cover letters for executive level clients.
Understanding of writing/creating keyword-rich resumes and cover letters that pass companies Applicant Tracking Software systems.
JOB TYPE: CONTRACTOR SALARY COMPENSATION:
$30-$60 per hour (DOE)
$500 monthly bonus once approved by management (usually within 60-90 days if approved).
$1,000 Resume Writer Referral Bonus (recommend a high-quality producing CPRW our way. If they are hired and retained for 90 days, you earn a resume writer referral bonus)
Average monthly salary of our Tier 3 writers is $4,120.
