Assist in the overall receiving, sorting, and documentation of complaint devices that have been returned to our Colorado Springs location. Additional activities include supporting decontamination for technical product investigations, troubleshooting and improving post market surveillance processes, and supporting a variety of other Quality tasks and activities.
You are responsible for
Handling complaint return material authorizations (RMAs) and identifying the appropriate disposition
Keeping clear documentation of the tracking number, date, and content of returns
Tracking the status of expected returns
Locating specific returns and expediting them
Creating packing lists and preparing weekly shipments of returns that require forwarding to another site
Transporting appropriate returns to the decontamination room on site
Following proper biohazard handling processes
Identifying and escalating improperly shipped returns
Supporting and communicating with other teams within the department such as intake, assessment, safety reporting, and closures
Working with the Shipping/Receiving department to ensure timely identification and movement of complaint returns
Following up on discrepancies noted regarding the returned devices
Following current policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all US and international regulations relating to complaint reporting

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

High School degree or equivalent is required
Previous experience in the medical device industry is preferred
Knowledge of US and international regulations for medical device manufacturers
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc)
Strong organization and prioritization skills with ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
Independent problem solver with excellent written communication skills.
High initiative in a fast-paced environment
