Position : Compounder / Blender
Job Description : Art of Beauty, Inc. located in Bedford, Ohio is searching for an experienced Compounder / Blender with a minimum of 3 – 8 years experience.Job Responsibilities: Follow detailed batch ticketsWeigh ingredients to exact specifications and monitor raw material usage on each blend to ensure correct weightsPump or pour chemicals into blend tanks in predetermined quantitiesOperate blending equipment according to established proceduresClean all equipment used in the process of creating a batchComplete all necessary paperwork and batch documentation in a timely manner including batching and filling recordsEnsure raw materials returned to inventory have the correct quantity/weight and information on containers, and the containers are in good conditionWork with Quality Control, the Lab, and Management to ensure a quality product is producedFollow lab instructions regarding batch approval, adjustments, and any additional requirementsEnsure compliance with OSHA, and cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)Observe all safety requirements set forth by the Company and OSHAJob Requirements: Basic math skills including decimals, percentages, fractions, and simple Algebra calculationsAbility to convert from US to metric measureAbility to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds for 8 – 10 hours per dayAbility to become a licenses tow motor driverStrong work ethic with great attention to detailBasic computer knowledge including Microsoft Excel and WordArt of Beauty, Inc. offers a comprehensive benefit package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance with these benefits beginning on date of hire, 401(k) with a yearly company Safe Harbor contribution, and PTO.Compensation for this position will be based on years of experience, skill set, and overall knowledge of the compounding process.Job Type: Full-timePay: $28.00 – $33.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeExperience:Compounding/Blending: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
