This person will be responsible forcollecting swab samples and performing COVID-19 rapid tests with our various rapid testingsolutions, such as Abbott ID Now.. The lab technician should be able to follow laboratoryStandard Operating Protocols (SOPs) and should keep up-to-date with CDC COVID-19guidelines. They will report directly to our Field Ops Manager to ensure all results areaccurately documented and reported. This person will also be responsible for driving ourMobile Lab (transit van) to and from both set events and private concierge visits.About YouWe are seeking an organized and detail-oriented professional with experience working in alaboratory setting and/or in a COVID-19 testing setting. As COVID-19 guidelines are constantlychanging, this person must be flexible and adaptable. This person must also be a quicklearner, an all-in team player, and an adventurous person ready for a unique job and funexperiences.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform swab sample collections on clients, including but not limited to, anterior nasal swabs,nasopharyngeal, and throat swabsOperating our rapid testing machines and resulting tests into our platform, following allpolicies and protocols.Drive our mobile lab & setting up events.Operating Rapid Analyzers, including QC, and troubleshootingLabel, transcribes, and records documentation such as report sheets as required by SOPsFollow compliance guidelines to meet HIPAA and CLIA-waived standardsMake sure machines are thoroughly cleaned and reported on, in the event of a positive COVIDresultLiaise with Senior Kameo Staff to understand current and upcoming shoots/events, customerrequirements, special requests, etc.Must have access to vehicleWillingness to travel locally is a requirementBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalentMinimum of 1 year-related laboratory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.Clean driving record and comfort driving and operating a cargo vanBSL2 laboratory experience, including but not limited to specimen processing and laboratorysupport in a research laboratory setting.Proficiency in computer skills, such as Microsoft Excel and laboratory information systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Extremely reliable and on-timeStrong understanding of best-in-class laboratory practices and regulatory compliance.General knowledge of basic medical terminology requiredGeneral awesomeness, with a sense of humor and love of funNotice: All Kameo Staff Must provide proof of Covid Vaccination in order to be cleared to workJob Types: Part-time, Contract, TemporaryPay: $35.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:Weekly testing (included)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Healthcare Provider or Lab: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:Healthcare License (Preferred)lab experience (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
