Job Summary: We are looking for an Engineering Services Representative I, to serve as a positive, helpful, and resourceful contact for the members of our electric utility cooperative. This will be an in office position, working from our Falcon office.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining member and public relations in accordance with the established objectives while performing all work.
Responsible for conducting sign-up procedures for members requiring a new service and/or outdoor lighting.
Responsible for accurate and timely preparation of the necessary forms to process transactions.
Responsible for keeping informed on current Association policies, rules, regulations, rates, construction practices, and other matters relating to the Engineering Department.
Answers common utility setup questions about line extensions and preliminary costs.
Research, prepare and follow up on easements, rights of way, statements of authority, and Load Data information.
Responsible for assisting with the record keeping of the recorded and unrecorded Grants of Right of Way and transmission easements.
Update and maintain Engineering Manual.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or certificate of equivalency (G.E.D.).
Previous experience working for a utility provider is preferred.
Communicate and interact effectively with members and co-workers in a courteous, professional manner.
Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks and assignments, ability to conduct work efficiently. Basic problem-solving skills.
Candidates must be able to read and interpret staking sheets and utility specification and apply it to the job as necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must including but not limited to the ability to communicate and interact effectively with members and co-workers in a courteous, professional manner.
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products.
The pay range for this position is between $20.91 to $32.18 per hour.
