AlohaCare’scomprehensive benefits package includes low cost medical, dental, drug andvision insurance, PTO program, 401k employer contribution, referral bonus andpretax transportation and parking program.These employee-focused efforts contribute to a friendly,team-oriented culture which is positively reflected into the communities weserve.The Opportunity: Position Summary: Providesin/outbound telephonic and occasional face-to-face service to AlohaCare membersand providers, using the highest degree of expertise, courtesy andprofessionalism with the objective of retaining the customer’s business and ensuringtheir on-going satisfaction.PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities: Fields incoming member and provider routineand complex calls concerning benefits, services, claims and other inquiries.Works in one or multiple queues/skill setsover various client contact channels. Receives and completes member call backsregarding various company surveys, reminders or mailers. May assist call center leadership in thetraining and mentoring of newly hired staff. Assists members in Primary Care Physician (PCP)selections and re-assignments in accordance with regulatory agency andAlohaCare policies, and updates member records as needed Responds to all incoming inquires relating tomember eligibility and assists members in understanding and navigating the enrollmentprocess into the QUEST Integration program.Maintains data integrity by entering andupdating information in member and provider database; keeping accurate accountof all telephonic transactions.Coordinates routine projects includingproducing copies, mailings, faxes, and recording all correspondence asindicated.Active team memberproviding feedback to Call Center management regarding caller inquiry trends,and attentive to changing conditions in the community impacting our customers. Responsible tomaintain AlohaCare’s confidential information in accordance with AlohaCarepolicies, and state and federal laws, rules and regulations regardingconfidentiality. Employee access to AlohaCare data is based on theclassification assigned to this job title.Required Competencies & Qualifications: High School graduate / EquivalentWork experience 1 + years of customer service/ customer facing responsibilities Strong oral, written and interpersonalcommunication skills, including telephone etiquetteStrong problem solving skillsStrong listening skillsStrong multitasking skillsHigh energy level and ability to performrepetitive tasks in a fast paced work environmentQuick learner with the ability to absorb andretain detailed informationPossess good judgment and common senseWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office(Outlook, Word, Excel and Lync)Flexibility and adaptability to changingprioritiesExcellent attendance, must be punctual andreliableCultural diversity and sensitivityPositive attitude and energyDemonstrates required performance/productivitywith routine and complex job duties and call queue management.Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree or post high school graduatetraining – especially in healthcare, insurance or customer service relatedfields Bilingual orMultilingual a pIus – particular consideration for Chuukese, Marshallese, Korean, Ilocano or Tagalog speakersPrior experience demonstrates consistentlystrong quality audit ratingsCall center orcustomer contact experience working with inbound and outbound customer callsPhysicalDemands/Working Conditions: Requires prolonged operation of a computerworkstation, including the ability to type for extended periods of time on akeyboard during the scheduled work day.May require occasional lifting, up to 20poundsAlohaCare is committed to providing equal employment opportunityto all applicants in accordance with sound practices and federal and statelaws.
