Job Description : SALARY: $82,139.00 AnnuallyOPENING DATE: 3/4/2022CLOSING DATE: 3/25/2022 11:59 p.m.UNIT: Administrative – Grade Level 7DEPARTMENT: Workforce Development & Lifelong LearningREPORTS TO: Executive Director, Workforce Development & Lifelong LearningThe Director of Lifelong Learning is responsible for the administration and implementation of all Lifelong Learning programs, including Camp Middlesex and culinary programs. This position develops and implements Lifelong Learning programs that meet the needs of Middlesex County.*PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: *Creates and oversees new programs and pathways in the Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning department, specifically non-credit-to-credit Industry Recognized Credential programs.Fosters new program development by collecting and interpreting data from competitive market analysis, local employers, internal/external input, and other informational sources; assesses program and outcomes; uses results to improve operations and expand scope of activities.Schedules non-credit courses and certificate programs, tracks enrollment, and analyzes all courses and programs to ensure revenue generation and overall quality.Develops and manages budgets for non-credit courses and certificate programs.Develops and achieves strategic goals, including annual revenue and enrollment targets.Promotes enrollment and revenue growth by adhering to industry best practices and benchmarks.Recruits, interviews, and recommends hiring of Lifelong Learning instructors and staff; facilitates their onboarding and training; and schedules the work of staff.Develops and implements marketing plans and strategic pricing models, as well as designs, writes and organizes promotional materials.Supervises and evaluates staff and instructors, and is responsible for the ongoing training and development of reporting staff and instructors.Works with internal and external stakeholders to identify new opportunities for courses and programs.Performs other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant fieldFour (4) years of successful experience in continuing education programs, including program development, promotion and implementationFour (4) years of experience building non-credit to credit programsFour (4) years of effective marketing, sales, and customer relations experienceFour (4) years of experience developing and monitoring program and grant budgetsFour (4) years of supervisory experience*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: *Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills including knowledge of MS Office and Modern CampusExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated success in proposal development and grant managementExcellent problem solving and management skills*SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: *SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with evening, weekend, summer, and other hours as needed*RETIREMENT: * Pension EligibleJob Type: Full-time
