Premier offers great work environments, industry leading wages, daily career satisfaction and fantastic growth opportunities.Premier fleet is searching for an experienced and accomplished leader to become our next General Manager.A Premier Fleet General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the facility operations, meeting or exceeding planned objectives for revenue and profit, and ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality standards are met. As General Manager you will manage all areas of the operations in accordance with Company standards to achieve a friendly atmosphere of superior customer service and product quality. Provides exemplary performance for staff to follow.A Premier Fleet General Manager should successfully manage Quality, Revenue, Staff, Vendors, Assets and Safety to meet the goals of each project and customer.Quality ManagementEmpowers staff to deliver quality by encouraging and rewarding responsive and productive achievementExceeds customer quality measuresEnsures operations standards and services contribute to the delivery of consistent qualityImplements quality initiatives, trains, and performs to Premier Fleet Services standardsRevenue ManagementMeets or exceeds budgeted profit margin for operationAccurately forecasts revenues/expensesPrepares annual budget that accurately reflects business planAnticipates revenue/cost problems and manages the timing of discretionary expenditures to stabilize cash flowAnalyzes financial and operating information on ongoing basis to adjust business plans, labor requirements and operating costsProduces accurate, timely reportsIdentifies major revenue and expense opportunities and possible problemsTranslates business plans into action and manages those actions toward the achievement of revenue and cost objectivesBased on forecasted monthly revenue, adjust controllable expenses to maintain profit margins and achieve planned monthly GOP and NOI (EBIDTA)Explain the causes for budget variances of controllable expenses, take corrective action to avoid future occurrences and adjust spending to eliminate variancesExecute company policies and procedures for purchasing.Human Resource ManagementManages human resources functions including recruiting, selection, orientation, training, performance planning and evaluation and pay/reward programs to maintain a qualified workforceMaintains a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and managementEmphasizes employee selection, training and development as a way of doing businessEnsures all employees know operations objectivesAdministers personnel policies fairly and consistentlyResolves employee grievances in a fair and timely wayEnsures employees understand policies, pay procedures, bonus plans and benefitsHelps to develop management talent by acting as a mentor for direct reportsEnsures training objectives and development plans are completedMonitors and maintains acceptable turnover levelsAsset ManagementMaintains physical product standards by managing preventive maintenance programs and by scheduling deep-cleaning activitiesEnsures ongoing staff and employee involvement in preventive maintenance programsProtects the interests of the company during capital projects.Personally conducts a weekly property audit with the management teamSafety and Security ManagementRecognizes and corrects potential safety hazardsRecognizes and corrects potential security problemsUnderstands and follows policies and procedures, ensures others are trained in sameUses ongoing safety training to minimize worker’s compensation claimsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESManages and directs all aspects of the facilioty operationsQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
