Job Description : Essential Duties and Responsibilities:o Manages effective customer relationships with our internal/external customerso Responsible for manifests, routing, and assignment of drivers for repackaged, micro-bulk, and bulk gaseso Daily review on Telemetry for bulk deliveries, driver VIR, check stopso Pick Ticket Daily Review and drop off to CSRo Update transfer order and print to Brancho Actively monitor and maintain Samsara fleet platform for routes efficiency, client information such as address, etc.o Responsible for keeping driver files current with required information and meeting requirements for the BIT inspectionso Maintain driver training programs with designated trainer to ensure safe driving practices, skills, and adherence to traffic and safety regulationso Analyzes and prepares reports such as: quantity/quality of deliveries, customer service issues, delivery time/estimations, repair/replace etc.o Accurately uses data to make forecasts and recommendations for operational improvement with Operations Managero Recommends and develops procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiencyo Ensures adherence to DOT/CHP/OSHA/Hatzmat guidelineso Coordinate vehicles/equipment maintenance including inspection and repairs; seeks to minimize disruption of service due to mechanical malfunctionso Provide team leadership and support to Operations Managero Administration/other duties as required and assigned by managementKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities· Ability to take lead role (take charge) in multiple facets of the department· Ability to problem solve complex customer, delivery, and fleet issues while maintaining positive customer service and/or interpersonal demeanor· Capable of multi-task and manage competing priorities and/or customer requirements· Ability to effectively listen, diagnose problem and communicate (verbal and written) issues and resolution· Strong time management and organizational skills· Strong client service skills· Understand how to motivate and provide supportive team leadership· General knowledge of business principles such as cost analysis,· Basic knowledge on MS Excel and other ERP systems· 2+ years experience in transportation or logistics· Working knowledge or exposure to DOT, CHP, OSHA, Hatzmat regulations a plus· AA in Business or related field preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: $62,400.00 per yearBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityExperience:Dispatchers: 1 year (Preferred)Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
