Job Description : Job Title: Railcar CleanerSite Location: HockleyDivision: RailReports To: Operations SupervisorJob Description Overview: Railcar cleaner that will be responsible for all aspects of car cleaning including the inspection, care, and maintenance of equipment used in the cleaning process.Job Requirements: Ability to enter confined spaces wearing movement and sight restricting PPE with limited lighting to clean.Clean interior of tank and hopper cars in compliance with company cleaning policies and procedures.Inspect clean railcars interiors for compliance with customer and company requirements.Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner and report potential hazards.Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights exceeding 4 feet off the ground with proper PPE and fall protection.Maintain safe and clean work areaSafety check equipment at facilityComplete electronic training monthlyParticipate in daily shift meetingsPerform daily preventative maintenance on equipment as neededComply with all company policies and proceduresIdentify safety hazards in the workplaceAny other duties assigned by managerRequirementsHigh School Graduate or equivalentBasic math, reading comprehension and writing skillsWork long hours doing repetitive motions in any weatherWork occasional weekends or holidaysDependableManages time effectivelyMust be willing to help out in other departments as neededAbility to work independently or as a teamMust pass a background check and drug screeningJob Type: Full-timePay: From $18.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayOvertimeWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus paySigning bonusAbility to commute/relocate:Hockley, TX 77447: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Railcar cleaning or Haz-Mat waste: 1 year (Required)Shift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Work Location: One location
