While a fashion model’s duties can vary from day to day, this role tends to involve several core responsibilities:
Pose for Photo Shoots
One of the most common responsibilities of a fashion model is posing for photo shoots. Typically, a Glitzy Girl model will come to our office and work with stylists and photographers to take a series of photographs for use in print, video, and online campaigns. This aspect of the role requires the ability to carefully listen to directions and work well with others, since many photo shoots involve several people, including other models.
Film Social Media Videos
Glitzy Girl models may also film television, social media, and other video advertisements. This aspect of the role frequently overlaps with photo shoots.
Style Clothing and Makeup
Fashion models need to style themselves for gigs. In these cases, fashion models need to select makeup that highlights their features and complements the items they are modeling.
Modeling gigs take place in North Texas, so fashion models also need to be ready to travel, often on short notice. This position is seasonal to part-time. We make all travel arrangements if coming from out of the DFW area. In many cases, fashion models have very little downtime between arriving and beginning work, so they must be ready to start working as soon as they arrive.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age to be considered for employment.
High-energy, friendly personality, ability to interact with a variety of people.
Flexibility in scheduling is necessary.
