Brief Description:
Twp. seeking organized individual to serve as the Planning Board and Zoning Board
Secretary to work under the Planning Director in a fast-paced, busy environment.
With a focus on teamwork, qualified candidates will be responsible for attending
evening meetings, putting together application packets for board members,
establishing meeting agendas and preparing minutes for each meeting. This person
will consult with the Zoning Board and Planning Board chairpersons as well as
several of the townships’ professionals, including the Building/Planning
Department staff. Knowledge of the planning and zoning process along with the
ability to improve the efficiency of the functions of this department is positive
criteria for consideration. Other duties include, but are not limited to; fielding
planning/zoning questions, assisting residents, clerical work and other special
projects in the Planning Department.
Qualifications:
Professional and courteous customer service skills is a must. College degree
preferred. Two years of experience in a planning/zoning environment or similar
work history. Proficiency with Word, Outlook and Excel is required. Knowledge of
Edmunds is preferred. Bilingual is a plus. Willing to train.
Salary: $50,292.00 -$79,512; Salary is commensurate with experience.
