Job Description : JOB SUMMARYJob Title: Harvest Processor/PackagerReports to: Floor ManagerLocation: Tacoma, WAMust be 21 years or older to apply for this position.JOB PURPOSEResponsible for hanging and drying all cannabis plants received from greenhouse and outdoor grow locations. Duties will vary from processing flower from the stalk, as well as trimming and packaging activities. Flower must be handled delicately, but with urgency and speed. Efficiency, accuracy, and traceability in all actions and tasks assigned. Must ensure accuracy in trimming, weighing, assembling, and packaging various forms of cannabis products including but not limited to flowers, pre-rolls, and oil concentrates. Production style work atmosphere- speed, accuracy, and consistency are crucial. Positive attitude to influence a healthy team culture is essential.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFulfill all scheduled shifts to meet retailer delivery demands.Prepare plants for drying after harvestHang flower to dry after it is harvested at the greenhouse or outdoor locationQuickly process flower off stalk to package the flowerEnsure you are minimizing waste of buds that could be packagedWork in an organized and methodical mannerTrim buds, make hash, fill cones, and weigh oil with speed and consistencyPerform quality analysis of finished productBasic equipment calibration and maintenanceCheck to ensure containers are damage freeClean and prepare containers for packingAssemble and clean packaging materials and applying labelsFill packages with accurate and appropriate amounts of productSeal containers with finished productAccurately count, process, and pack finished goodsResponsible for accurate tracking and weighing of all production projects as assigned by supervisorsAdhere to compliant, regulated work culturePositive outlook and attitude to contribute to a healthy team culture and environmentMandatory Overtime as demand requiresFlexibility in other tasks as assignedWORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDSThis job can have a high amount of noise with music, machinery, dust, and talking. Requires prolonged sitting/standing and repetitive movements.
