To build upon our success, we are looking for a
Logistics Manager
SALARY: $55,000 to $75,000 based on experience
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Manage inventory as well as warehouse, transportation, and other logistics processes
Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries
Keep up to date on any changes of deliveries, notifying affected department or customer
Coordinate shipments to and from consignment warehouse
Respond to and resolve complaints and problems
Supervise department to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with those parties
Order packaging on a weekly basis
Oversee shipments to and invoicing of customers based on sales order releases
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations
Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, and management principles
Working knowledge of MS Office and inventory management software; SAP experience a plus
Exemplary team player
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
High school diploma or equivalent
