Job Description : Extremely Busy 6 physician Rheumatology practice is seeking an experienced full time medical biller to join our team. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm or 8:00am- 5:00pm. Must have reliable transportation, must have EHR experience and must have at least 2+ years experience working in a medical billing setting.Job Description:Must be able to read and interpret EOB’s(explanation of benefits)Must be able to submit insurance retractionsMust have multiple years of experience posting insurance and patient payments.Pull EFT’s (electronic funds transfer)Work claimsSend out collection letters and follow upFollowing up on ARMust be extremely efficient and familiar with commercial payor and MedicareMust be able to multi- taskMust have excellent customer serviceMust be a team player and possess great communication skillsMust be very efficient, reliable and detailed orientedMust be able to post insurance charges.After 90 days benefits include 100% paid health insurance and paid sick and vacation time.
