Job Description : Position Title: Membership Engagement CoordinatorReports to: Senior Director of MembershipOverview: The Membership Engagement Coordinator is responsible for fostering a positive membership experience by working with members to ensure that they are aware of the Chamber’s offerings that correspond with their objectives. This role is responsible for retention through membership renewals and increasing non-dues revenue, while helping businesses achieve their objectives through the Chamber’s four pillars: Networking and Business Development, CommunityEngagement, Advocacy and Educational Opportunities. They are a valuable resource to hundreds of businesses and are a very important part of the team in assisting the organization to meet its goals.Key Responsibilities Include:Membership Engagement Work with the Senior Director of Membership to develop and execute strategies for membership retention. o Make membership renewal calls to specified members who are past due. o Relay Operations Manager information captured during outreach to OperationsManager to ensure the Chamber’s CRM is up to date.Develop, plan and implement strategic membership engagement plans for current members. o Connect with all current members annually to check in on their membership experience and ensure that they are aware of the Chamber’s offerings that correspond with their objectives, working with them to foster a positive membership experience. o Connect with all new members nine months into their first year of membership to ensure the membership is meeting their needs.Serve as primary point of contact for member engagement beyond their first year of membership.Sponsorship Solicit and steward sponsors for the Chamber’s Signature Events, Monthly Events and other activities where sponsorships can be secured. o Develop sponsorship packages to meet their targeted needs.Proactively identify prospective sponsors and cultivate relationships with them to grow their Chamber involvement.Work with existing sponsors on renewal packages. o Ensure all benefits have been fulfilled.Volunteer Management Serve as the staff liaison for the Membership Engagement Committee.Serve as the staff liaison to the Education and Workforce Development Committee. o Facilitate Chamber education and workforce development partnerships. o Facilitate business and educational institution relationships for mutual benefit.This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
