Position : Operations Manager
Job Description : The Operations Manager position is primarily responsible for inventory control management by directing, coordinating, performing and overseeing the purchasing, receiving, planning, production and shipping departments.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Directs shop personnel in accordance to corporate policies, objectives and union contract.Responsible for preparing the weekly production schedules.Responsible preparing shipping schedules and planning outbound shipments.Directs Buyer/Planner’s on ROP/ROQ’s, and update of inventory records and purchase orders.Directs Logistic specialist to ensure timely, accurate receiving and shipping.Responsible for the cross training of shop personnel.Responsible for managing all building, plant and grounds preventative maintenance requirements as well as special projects.Responsible for monitoring workforce for compliance to attendance, safety policies and regulate infractions within the union contract.Responsible for ensuring OSHA requirements are carried, inclusive of required training.SkillsProven work experience as operations manager or similar roleKnowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations managementFamiliarity with business, financial principles and internal controlsExcellent communication skillsLeadership abilityOutstanding organizational skillsDegree in Business, Operations Management or related field.Job Type: Full-timePay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityEducation:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Distribution Operations Occupations: 10 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Preferred)Work Location: One location
