Job Description : About the team
We are looking for a Business Analytics leader to join our team that focuses on products for buyers that enable them to win their next home. Today, buying and moving can be difficult when competing against cash offers and offers with waived contingencies, and is also made more difficult when a customer is trying to secure financing, unlock the equity in their current home, and trying to align purchase and sale. We’re building a team to solve these challenges.
About the role
A successful candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for tackling large, ambiguous projects that directly impact consumer behavior. You love data, but are also customer-focused, and can tie your analysis back to the human story behind the numbers. You will be responsible for working with our product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to understand key business drivers, and provide the teams with actionable, strategic insights and guidance. You will need the ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization and make actionable recommendations. To support these efforts, you will also lead a small team of Business Analysts / BIEs.
In this role, you will:
Be in highly visible positions to drive meaningful decisions with senior leaders across the company.
Build and run the mechanisms that drive visibility into our product at all levels as well as manage our business.
Define new metrics and build dashboards and reports to provide better visibility into business performance.
Own monthly performance reporting around key metrics. Collaborate with product managers, data science, operations leads, and finance to understand how product and ops changes impact monthly performance.
Develop business models for new ventures and pilots.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
In Colorado, the standard pay range for this role is $126,300.00 – $201,700.00 Annually. This range is specific to Colorado and may not be applicable to other locations.
Who you are
5-7 years of relevant experience in business analytics, management consulting, FP&A or similar role.
History of managing people.
Advanced Excel modeling skills and experience building business models with scenario analysis
Proficiency with SQL and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau)
Expert at PowerPoint or Google Slides presentations to leadership
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
