Job Description : Procurement Agent IJob DescriptionSmall aerospace company looking for Procurement Agent to work with our supply chain management team to maintain proper stocking levels of high-quality parts for our airline customers. Manage multiple suppliers to procure and ensure timely delivery of precision parts. Plan and purchase production parts via ERP system. Communicate status of work in progress, part availability, and production issues to management. Work with sales, engineering, quality, shipping and receiving departments to solve procurement problems.Due to Covid-19, vaccination is a condition of employment and proof of vaccination will be required upon hire. All employees are required to wear face masks in the facility while walking around, or in the presence of others. All personal protection including gloves and masks will be provided for you, or you can use your own. Essential Responsibilities Negotiates and coordinates the procurement and distribution of products and services for the organization including raw materials, finished parts, tooling, equipment and suppliesInterviews and confers with vendors to obtain price, availability, delivery information and to determine vendor qualificationsMonitors PO delivery status and prioritizes and expedites orders based on customer needsMonitors and analyzes inventory levels and issues POs as neededBuilds strong business relationships with vendors and maintains regular communication with themExperience and Skills1-3 years of experience in a purchasing, production, or project management role strongly preferredHighly proficient with MS Office programs, especially ExcelPrior experience working in an ERP systemExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and prioritization skillsGood public relations skills with positive and professional attitudeExperience in aerospace, manufacturing, airline, or MRO environment a big plusPower BI, SQL, business analytics skills a big plusEducationHigh School Diploma, some college is preferredCompensation & BenefitsSalary range $55,000 to $72,500 commensurate with experience. We offer flexible start times with manager approval, paid vacation and sick/personal leave along with health, dental, vision and 401k plan with a dollar for dollar match up to the first 4%.
