Position : Quality Assurance Manager
Job Description : Quality Assurance Manager (5+ years experience) POSITION SUMMARY The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will develop Quality Assurance programs and activities that will ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, government regulations, and industry best practices including GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards. The QA Manager will integrate quality assurance and quality control into all functions and people. This role requires someone who can work a flexible schedule that may range Monday – Friday, from 5am – 2pm ET.Key Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all quality programs, including GMP, HACCP and SQF.Evaluate and assist in developing processes, specifications, and critical control points in manufacturing, for ongoing quality assurance of all finished goods.Manage HACCP assessments and reassessments. Compose and edit HACCP plans and strategies for new products. Manager HACCP records and file maintenance.Maintain current library for all GMP’s, SOP’s, SSOP’s and SQF.Participate and contribute to continuous improvement of departmental SOPsEnsure that all new regulations (i.e. FSMA) are quickly and accurately implemented at all assigned facilities and suppliers.Assist Implement quality assurance programs that effectively monitor product manufacturing in a way that result in company compliance with regulatory SOP,GMP, HACCP, and SQF level 2 standards for third party audit and customer product requirements.Establish manufacturing specifications, standards, protocols and procedures for quality control and new product development.Develop and execute training programs that support the Company’s objectives with regard to quality and food safety.Apply administrative and record-keeping processes to support the programs listed above Maintain theSQF System.Perform other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication experience in the field.Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance standards.Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s with skills.Certification of quality control is a strong advantage.Strong MS Office skills.Ability to analyze data and create and review processes.About Us: Wonder Meats Inc. has been family owned and operated since 1971.
