Job Description : Quality Manager Location: Pflugerville Facility – Pflugerville, TXResponsible Manager: SVP OperationsThe Quality Manager for North America will be responsible for developing and implementing required quality processes and procedures with the operating and technical staff. This position will serve as the key focal point for our customers, suppliers, and global corporate entity for quality management issues. The Quality Manager will help maintain ISO certification at all North American locations.What you will be Doing: Develop and validate quality processes and procedures in conjunction with operations and product development staff including defining product specifications and training staff.Maintain and improve product quality by completing quality audits on products, company processes and quality systems. Collaborating with other members of management to develop new product specifications and manufacturing and training methods.Responsible to integrate quality functions into new or existing business functions. Eliminate the gap in execution when quality is thought of as a stand-alone department or function.Act as the key contact for customers’ auditors and be responsible for ensuring execution of corrective actions and ongoing compliance with customers’ specifications. Support establishment of reasonable standards of service for customers.Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Maintain ISO 9001:2015 quality certifications at all North American locations. Perform internal audits to assess company compliance.Work with department managers and subject matter experts to create, update and maintain ISO work instructions.Assess local suppliers’ product specifications and quality plans.
