Position : RCFE Assistant Administrator

Job Description : Assists the Administrator in the daily operations and oversight of the community. Acts as Designated Administrator when the Administrator is absent. Provides direct supervision and manages care and resident services departments assuring successful operations.Coordinates ongoing assessments, service planning and health care coordination with support from the wellness team of nurses, med techs and care team. Creates orientation and in-service training schedules for direct care team and other staff, as requested. Addresses additional skills and training needed, determined by resident care needs. Acts as compliance manager, interprets and translates RCFE (Title22, Division 6, Chapter 8) and OSHA regulations, and assists the management team to comply with these, life/safety, and all federal, state, county, and city regulations affecting the community. Establishes and maintains customer relations (residents and family members) to encourage harmony and communication within the Community. Develops and maintains a positive resident, family, and outside community image.Assists Administrator with developing and growing cohesive teams, programs and systems that support residents needs and preferences. Assists with participating in ongoing quality improvement programs and implementing best practices as defined by the compliance and clinical oversight teams. Assists with Human Resource matters to include recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, professional development, disciplining, and termination. Participates and develops culture that supports staff recognition and accountability with the goal of improving staff morale and deepening the Company Culture of Care. Assists with facility marketing and maintaining census, to include tours and outreach. Works with Resident and Family Services to assist with the admission process for new residents by reviewing pre-admission paperwork and physician’s reports, performing assessments with nursing support as requested, reviewing information with the Nurse Wellness Coordinator and Administrator, completing Admission Agreement and paperwork during intake, and assisting with wellness resident file creation.Other projects may be assigned.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:Our company follows strict guidelines as outlined by the DPH, and DSSEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)License/Certification:RCFE Certificate (Required)Work Location: One location
