This is much more than a job – it is a career with purpose._________________________________________________________________________________________GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Regional Manager is accountable for overseeing the operation of all stores in the assigned region. Directs a group of store managers to ensure that each store operations within policies and procedures established by the company and seizes every opportunity to improve the rental revenues and controls cost of operations. The overall continuing challenge of the Regional Manager is to raise interest and awareness of the factors that cause a store to be successful and secondly to ensure this knowledge is applied to the daily operations of each store. Responsible for recruiting, selecting, and training store managers capable of accomplishing operating objectives. Establish a professional working environment that encourages individual commitment to achieving the company mission. Direct the operations of all assigned stores through the General Manager, to meet projected performance goals set by senior management. Understands, enforces and provides assistance to associate development. Monitor performance and conduct of personnel in assigned stores, take corrective action when needed. Oversees merchandise for stores to ensure inventory is properly stocked. Recommend accurate annual store budget in a timely manner, always keeping operations supplied with projection information as requested in advance. Monitor all store locations, vehicles and equipment to ensure all are organized, clean and maintained properly for safe operation. Turn in quarterly store audits to include a completed sterilized inventory for each store. Must present a professional image via proper hygiene and grooming, as well as adherence to company dress code. Must be flexible and responsive to perform these and other duties, as assigned to ensure effective operations.W*ORK EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: *Five years’ experience in retail or other business emphasizing sales, customer service, account management or merchandising. Effective organizational skills, established selling skills, handle multiple priorities simultaneously, learn and become proficient in POS system, must be able to examine, analyze and evaluate store operations. Must be able to read, w rite and communicate effectively in person and over the phone with employees and customers. Must implement sales and marketing campaigns. Must understand financial statements. Must be able to negotiate and resolve conflict. Plan, organize, delegate, coordinate and follow up on various tasks and assignments. Recognize and solve problems. Must have proficient navigational skills with a satisfactory driving record and meet insurability requirements. Regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekend as business dictates.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree with coursework in business, accounting, marketing, management or closely related plus relevant work experience.Physical Requirements: Position routinely requires lifting, loading, moving and using a dolly for merchandise 50-300 pounds. Stooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching and grabbing as required. Prolonged driving and standing.
