Position : Residential Construction Supervisor
Job Description : The Curtis Meade, Inc team is looking for an experienced construction superintendent to manage our projects. You’ll supervise our inhouse staff and sub contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time. As a superintendent, your job duties will also include allocating and monitoring budgets.This role requires excellent communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with various people, such as construction workers, architects, engineers and clients. In order to succeed, it’s important to know how to implement quality, health, and safety standards onsite.If you are organized, able to work well under pressure and have experience in this field, we’d like to meet you. Responsibilities include:Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needsSet performance goals and deadlinesPlan construction processesEstimate costs and ensure the project is on budgetSupervise staff and provide constructive feedbackMonitor and report on project progressPlan and schedule inspections accordinglyImplement safety and quality guidelinesKeep track of material stock and ordersEnsure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderlyResolve on-site issues and emergenciesKeep track of change ordersRequirements * Previous experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar roleKnowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sitesIn-depth understanding of construction operations and processesProficiency in MS OfficeOrganizational and time-management skillsAbility to lead and inspireDegree in Construction Management, or similar field is a plusJob Type: Full-timePay: $40.00 – $55.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Construction Experience: 5 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
