Position : Summer Student Assistant – Highland County

Job Description : OSU Extension, Highland County is seeking to hire a summer assistant to work with the 4-H Program for May – August 2022. Applicants should have leadership experiences, strong communication, organizational and computer skills, be self-motivated, enthusiastic and demonstrate good people skills.
4-H Judging: Responsible for assisting and managing project judging. Scheduling judging times, contacting judges, and organizing post-judging packets for State Fair Judging representatives.
Assisting with 4-H skillathons
Assemble end of the year packets.
Work on updating Learning Lab Kits
Assist with data entry for both 4-H and ANR
Take directions and guidance from all staff members.
Complete assignments in a timely manner.
Promote the OSU Extension Office as a positive educational opportunity for our community.
Always maintain a professional attitude and appearance when working in the OSU-Highland County Extension Office or any Extension event/activity or program.
Work cooperatively with co-workers.
Be flexible and willing to fill in where needed.
Be a self-starter.
Be a liaison between the youth and the Educators.
Be supportive of all OSU and Highland County Extension Policies
Other duties as assigned
Temporary (Fixed Term) 20 Varying Shifts
