Position : Test Laboratory Technician
Job Description : Hensel Recycling is looking for a full-time Laboratory Technician to work 1st shift at our West Berlin, NJ facility. We are looking for candidates that are reliable and detail-oriented with great communication and problem solving skills. We will train the right candidate for this position!Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collect, prioritize and determine what materials to analyze based on company standards.Effectively communicate with various departments within organization on the processing of materials.Capture and edit pictures of materialsOperate ball mill, shredder, and metal shearing machines.Perform warehouse duties and operations as requiredPrepare, analyze, and test samples of materials or products according to standard procedures to ensure compliance with specifications.Categorize materials based on company standards.Organize and store all processed materials according to safety standards and company policy.Prepare samples prior to shipping them to customers.Record all data and results in specified forms with accuracy and responsibility.Analyze retrieved data and prepare reports for laboratory management.Clean and maintain equipment.Qualifications: High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or technical school, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.What We Offer You: Medical, dental and vision benefits401K with generous company matchPaid holidays and PTO allowanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramMonthly company provided lunchesBonusesCompany Overview: Precious metals are our passion – that makes Hensel Recycling the first choice in the recovery of precious metals.
