The Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through a warehouse. Also ensures that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities.Key responsibilities include: Manages all warehousing and finished goods traffic activities.Manages accounting of local and 3PL WH stocks and conducts periodic audits.Manages inventory levels and accuracy for all internal and 3PL warehouse locations.Manage and ensure inventory accuracy of raw material, packaging, finished goods, reworkMonitor warehouse utilization and turnover rates.Develop inventory control methods and procedures that ensure accountability of stocks and minimizes losses.Supervises traffic operations and ensures optimized carrier scheduling.Supervise, maintain, and archive all shipping documentation.Validates raw material pre-staging daily.Validates monthly cycle counts of external warehouses.Coordinates inventory inspections and monitors accuracy levels.Conducts investigation and responds to customer complaints.Coordinates non-compliance of 3PL WH providers and maintains WH scorecard.Coordinates with central transportation all non-compliance of 3PL freight providers and maintains carrier scorecard locally.Responsible for ensuring safety policy is adhered to.Plan and develop training program for employees.Determine proper staffing requirements to minimize human capital costs.Report all pickup delays to Logistics Coordinator.Must promote a safe working environment and good GMP’s.Committed to providing a safe food product.Works within all regulatory requirementsAbout you:BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, or International Business.Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel.ERP and WMS related experience needed, SAP SCM/DRP/MRP experience is a plus.Ability to work independently, and to meet deadlines.Good communication skills.5+ years experience in warehouse operations.5+ years experience in leadership role (supervisory) or management experience.Food manufacturing industry experience desirableWhat you can expect from Barry Callebaut:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package12 paid holidays, generous PTO, plus your birthday offEnvironment that welcomes workplace flexibilityAn atmosphere where diversity is embraced, and inclusivity is second nature.
