Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit across one shift. The Warehouse Supervisor coordinates the receiving, shipping, and material handling responsibilities in the warehouse by supporting the front line staff.*Work shift: 3rd Shift (10 PM – 8 AM)Major Tasks, Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities: Manage the receiving and delivery of raw materials/finished products in a timely mannerUtilize docks, warehouse layout, and route truck loading patterns that minimize loading timeEnsure the optimal inventory levels of full goods are maintained in order to fulfill daily sales needsProvide timely service to sales department while minimizing warehouse and production costsDevelop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goalsDeliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impactCommunicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issuesBuilds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnelMotivate team members to achieve plan goalsMaintain the inventory system to aid in production schedulingMaintain all housekeeping and safety standards and trainingIdentify and execute productivity opportunities to help facility meet annual operating planAdminister policies and proceduresRegular and predictable attendance at the work siteThis role requires regular presence on the plant floorThis role requires lifting up to 40 lbs. occasionallyThis role requires occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.This role may operate forklift and manufacturing equipment occasionallyThis role may require off-shift and weekend workThis role may require some travel (less than 5%)#LI-USAQualifications/requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar fieldLean Six Sigma Experience preferred2 years of warehouse or logistics experience preferredDemonstrated front-line supervisory, planning and organization skillsMicrosoft Suite including Excel comprehension preferredAbility to give and receive constructive feedbackAbility to lead a team-based approach to decision makingDemonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring othersEffective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skillsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesInternal Title:Product Availability Supervisor (PAS)SC Ops Associate SupervisorWarehouse SupervisorCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:Expected salary range is USD $62k-$74k annually (bi-weekly payment).Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% paid out annually.Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.Other benefits, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment for this role, effective December 31, 2021.
