PSC Group is seeking a Chemical Plant Packaging Operator to work in a world-leading petrochemical plant that manufactures high-tech polymer (plastics/resins) in Hebron, OH. This industrial career opportunity includes operating an automated packaging machine to fill containers with plastic pellets and conducting quality control checks to ship out product safe and efficiently. Work Schedule: 12 hr. Straight Days / Hours: 5 AM – 5 PM (every other weekend off with required overtime as needed)
Pay Range: $17.25 – $20.50 an hour
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Utilizes equipment and tools for packaging of finished product into designated containers.
Performs visual quality inspections during packaging and collects samples for lab analysis and testing.
Utilizes inventory management system to label and scan finished product.
Operates forklift to load pallets and box feeder in warehouse setting.
Completes required checklists and documentation to ensure traceability of products.
Performs hopper car and dry bulk truck unloading tasks, transferring of feed stock material into storage silos.
Uses an automated conveyor system to transfer finished product containers to the warehouse for storage/shipping.
Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
Job Qualifications:
18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
Stable work history with good references from past employers
Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
Speak fluent English

Physical Requirements:You must be able to:
Speak, write, read, hear, and have good vision
Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold
Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE
Lift 60 pounds floor to waist
Push and pull 30 pounds horizontally
Carry 20 pounds while walking
Climb stairs and ladders
Stand 8-12 hours per day
Extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting
