Job Description : 3D CAD Product Design and Tooling Engineer My client is an International Market Leader. Position open due to a promotion.Great work/life balancePosition based at the Company’s plant located in Atlanta as part of the Company’s New Product Development team.The candidates main mission will be:General responsibilities· Participate in the evaluation of technical feasibility on new projects.· Design prints in 3D according to the technical feasibility, esthetic, manufacturing constraints and other components of the product· Design mold/tooling prints for all mold components. The candidate will:o Work with manufacturing, sampling specialist and the development team to consider the parameter and constraints of the process.o Manage all technical aspects during mold conception and improvement on existing items.o Design bottles and molds according Verescence methods and standards.o Collaborate with on-site machine shop to support prototype tooling and production revision requirements.o Collaborate with our corporate development team and factories internationally.o Have the potential for trips to mold makers both domestic and international.· Modify tooling prints to reflect updates base on continuous improvement initiatives and/or customer’s requests for changes to specifications.· Create QC gages and supporting controlled documents.Qualifications· Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial design Degrees preferred.· Solid knowledge of 3D CAD software and design.o NX experience a preferred.· Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills to effectively achieve project objectives while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.· Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.· Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of employees.·Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 – $95,500.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRelocation assistanceRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payApplication Question(s):How maEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
