Job Description : Duties and Responsibilities:Enter daily cash received in the accounting systemFollow up with customers for delinquent paymentsResponsible for collecting money on COD accounts in a timely mannerProcess credit card paymentsAssist the billing department with preparing and issuing invoices to customersInvestigate overpayments and process refunds and/or credit memosPrint and distribute monthly customer statementsUpdate detail aging report with daily depositsProcess credit application and run credit checks to ensure credit worthinessSetup / update customer information in accounts receivablesProvide month end closing reports as they pertain to accounts receivableOther duties as assignedDesired Qualifications:Associates degree in Accounting1 year of collection experienceAccuracy and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, OutlookExcellent written and verbal communicationPositive, courteous and professional attitude in dealing with internal and external customersStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanorAbility to portray a positive phone and email imageStrong team player who is dependable, reliable, detail-oriented with good attendanceConscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of workMust reside on Oahu and be eligible to work in the United StatesJob Type: Full-time
