Position : Airline Crew Scheduler
Job Description : Key Lime Air has an open position for a Full-Time Crew Scheduler. This person is responsible for scheduling flight crews according to operational needs, considering crew and aircraft availability, maintenance requirements, and federal regulations. This position also advises appropriate personnel of schedule changes, potential delays or cancelations.Duties and Responsibilities: Assign crew members to flight assignmentsAssess demand for upcoming assignments taking crew duty/rest requirements into considerationEnsure that all crew member duty/rest times are scheduled in accordance with FAR 135 or FAR 121 regulations and department standard operating proceduresCommunicate changes to the appropriate departments within the companyWork closely with Charter Coordinators to maximize charter availabilityCoordinate with chief pilot and instructors to schedule training eventsPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedEducation and Experience: Associates degree or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school; 1-3 years of related experience preferably in an aviation/logistics environment; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePrevious airline scheduler experience preferredKnowledge of Part 121 and 135 regulations is preferredMust have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn company software programsRequired Skills Candidate should work well in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the businessMust be detail orientated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamExcellent oral/written communication and problem solving skillsSuccessful candidate will maintain a high level of professionalism while multitasking various real time situations in a fast-paced environmentMust be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with occasional on-call or afterhours availabilitySchedule: Full-Time: 32 hoursMust be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidaysPay Rate: $20.00 per hour Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceEducation:Associate (Preferred)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:NoWork Location: One location
