We are looking for an Associate Category Manager who is an agile teammate to join us in bringing consumer-first product to the evolving global marketplace. Our Jibbitz charms allow Crocs fans to personalize their shoes and express themselves – and this is the product you’ll be working with! The person in this role will support execution of the global line plan to meet the strategic goals and long-term vision of the brand. This role is highly collaborative and coordinates across multiple functions. You will use effective communication & organizational skills to support the product creation process from end-to-end.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support seasonal brand & category objectives; assistance in line planning & briefing, special or off-timeline project management, system management, sample tracking & organization, timeline management, and achievement presentation supportLearn triad best-practices & product creation lifecycle, ensuring product intent, costing targets & timelines are being metBecome a guide in consumer, competitor, and marketplace; build overviews to maintain strong pulse to help identify new category opportunities & demonstrate findings during key milestonesHone analytical skills with historical & real-time performance data using an insight-to-action approach to support decision-makingSupport go-to-market with product briefing & editing and cross-functional communication on changes to product or timing
Qualifications
0-2 years category management or product line management experience, preferably in a SKU-intensive teamStrong organizational skills & attention to detail and deadlinesExcellent communication skills and works collaborativelyA passion for understanding consumer, culture, market & trends with a distinguished taste-level and eye for commercialitySeeks to understand multiple points of view, maintain a learning mentality, and expresses viewpoints with confidenceTakes an actioned-oriented approach to dataCreative, out of the box thinking to challenge the status quoAbility to travelProficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
