Job Description : Titmouse LA has a really sweet family show coming up inspired by the style of vintage children’s book illustrations such as Beatrix Potter and Winnie the Pooh. Target production style is similar to Ernest & Celestine. We are looking for an experienced background layout artist that can capture the essence of those organic, hand drawn environments digitally.
This position is open to both local & remote artists. This is a union position. Non-union candidates may apply but those living within union boundaries in Los Angeles must join the union to work on the production.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to design and create background layouts of appealing forest and vintage small town environments. Must apply with relevant portfolio samples.
Previous experience working as an episodic animation background layout artist.
Must be able to handle organic and structural perspectives.
Must have a strong ability to draw organic lines digitally.
Location: Anywhere but must be able to work LA hours.
