Job Description : Job Summary
The Auditor’s Office has an opening for the position of Clerk III – Licensing. This position provides efficient and courteous customer service to the public, assists public, financial institutions, dealers, and title companies with titling and licensing information; processes vehicle and vessel title applications and/or registrations; processes mobile home title applications; and issues various permits.
Responsible for individual balancing of cash drawer and any supporting documentation for work performed throughout the day. Requires attention to detail, a high degree of accuracy, and the ability to multi-task throughout the day.
Responsible for collection of sales/use tax required by the Department of Revenue.

Requires a high school diploma or GED & 3 years of progressively responsible general office, clerical and/or secretarial experience. Cashiering and cash balancing experience is desired. Must type accurately at 40 net words per minute, use a calculator by touch with accuracy at 100 strokes per minute and perform data entry with accuracy at 130 strokes per minute.
Must have a driving record that meets County standards. Background check must meet County criteria. Salary

Range 108.0
Full Salary Range: $18.51 – $28.07 per hour
This position receives annual pay increases.
