Job Description : Summary of PositionThe ideal candidate must already be, OR has recently been, working for a general contractor wherein their responsibility was/is the management of ground-up and Fit-outs of commercial projects where you are/were managing 3-4 projects at one time, pending the size of the project. If you have a positive attitude with the energy to fulfill all job responsibilities with integrity, excellence along with a strong work ethic, we want to talk to you.Experience Required· 10+ years’ experience working for a general contractor in Commercial Project Management of Ground Up and Fit-out projects.5+ recent years in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining: 1. budget, 2. Schedule, 3. Quality, 4. Safety, 5. Company’s: Policies, Procedures & required Paperwork.5+ recent years of experience working for a general contractor creating schedules in Microsoft Project and be fluent with its functionality.5+ recent years’ experience, working for a general contractor as a Project Manager. Your experience in this position must include meeting with the Project Supervisors to mentor them, review reporting, & approve various documents, find the problems and potential problems to help the supervisor with finding the proper solution that will best serve the client and BCG.· 5+ years’ experience working for a general contractor as a Project Manager managing from the office (Not the jobsites) 3-4 projects at one time, pending the size of the project. A profound knowledge of the different reports and document types are essential for this position and are required to be reported weekly and some monthly. The project managers will be submitting reporting and other documents to the Director of Construction for review and comment. Some of these reports and documents are: Project Budget vs. Actual, Project Schedules, RFI’s/RFI Log, Submittals/Submittal Log, Purchases/Purchase Logs, Client and Subcontractor Change Orders & Logs, shop drawings, CTC’s (Cost to Completes),WIP (Work in Process)· Extensive experience maintaining project budgets and schedules.Skills RequiredMust Have very Strong Computer and software skills and be very fluent in the following Microsoft software: Word, Excel, Teams, Share Point, Microsoft Project, Outlook etc.Fluent in Microsoft Excel is a must!Knowledge and use of Procore a plus, but BCG is willing to train.Must be very fluent in MS Excel and MS Project and be fluent with both of their functionality.Strong interpersonal skills to oversee and effectively manage the Jobsite Supervisors with the utmost professionalism and integrity. Must have the skillset to work with the Jobsite Supervisors ensure they produce a consistent high level of professionalism and that the CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE consistently falls between very good and excellent as this experience is perceived by the customer.Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet with the Jobsite Supervisors to review their project reporting to ensure that the Jobsite Supervisors are maintaining the: 1. budget, 2. Schedule, 3. Quality, 4. Safety, 5. Company’s: Policies, Procedures & required Paperwork.Work with a high volume of work within tight deadlines and thrive under pressure.Ability to quickly read and understand blueprints/plansAbility to read, understand and possess a profound knowledge of Project Budgets, Project Schedules, RFI’s/RFI Log, Submittals/Submittal Log, Purchases/Purchase Logs, Client and Subcontractor Change Orders & Logs, shop drawings, CTC’s (Cost to Completes),WIP (Work in Process), shop drawings, specifications, AIA Billing Requisitions, subcontractor scopes of work, Drawings/Logs, Client Close-Out Packages, Maintenance Manuals, As-built Drawings, Punch ListsA tremendous attention to detail.Consistently meets deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to communicate RFI’s effectively and manage a RFI log and report to management delays in answering, change order requirements and project delays.Ability to create and send submittals for approval, manage a Submittal log and report to management any delays in approval or denials that are important.Ability to manage the purchase log to ensure that all Owner, GC and subcontractor materials and equipment arrive on the project by the required date to ensure an on-time completion.Ability to create, submit and manage client and subcontractor change orders.
