This position will be responsible for developing and implementing our organization’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Plan that will encompass areas of employee engagement, retention, and current and future client populations.Duties:Lead the development and creation of a plan to address DEI at Cadence Care Network from a client, employee, and recruitment perspective.Work collaboratively with Human Resources and the Executive Team to set the direction and implementation of DEI guidelines to attract, retain and advance a highly skilled and diverse workforce.Provide subject matter expertise and DEI counsel, this includes staying abreast of business & operational needs.Represent Cadence Care Network at various community, state and regional activities designed to promote diversity, inclusion, and cultural competency.Work with community partners to advance DEI initiatives across the communities we serve.Provide best practices and recommendations for supporting diversity, equity and inclusion business strategies and alignment to goals as it relates to strategic organizational goals.Provide leadership and guidance to operationalize the strategies that are developed.Consult and mentor leaders within departments to implement new projects and programs based on identified DEI needs.Develop, maintain, and deliver effective communication to managers and employees.Work with the Executive Team to establish benchmarks and metrics for ongoing measurement; Utilize metrics and analyze data to help identify trends, and gaps to inform strategy; develop and report out on metrics to measure progress and to evaluate DEI strategy as it relates to both the staff and client experience at Cadence Care Network.Develop recommendations for program, training, and orientation improvements based on trends identified in the evaluation process.Work with the Leadership Team to generate ideas and approaches to improve the effectiveness of existing programs and create new programs.Work with the Executive Team to develop policies and procedures supporting attraction, retention, and promotion of a diverse and inclusive workforce and board of trustees for the organization.Ensure leadership alignment on policy changes and deliver clear communication to all staff, managers, employees, and the community.Degree/Experience: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Master’s degree preferred and 5 – 7 years experience in a related job discipline.Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayApplication Question(s):Do you have experience in any or all of the following: community engagement, public speaking, career coaching, or counseling?Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:related job discipline: 5 years (Required)Work Location: One location
