Our diverse workforce is uniquely focused on empowering New Yorkers, without exception, to live the healthiest life possible.Job DescriptionUnder the direction of the Deputy Director COVID-19 Testing Sites, the COVID-19 Testing Field Operations Manager manages a group of COVID-19 Testing Site Leads and is responsible for the success of several COVID-19 community testing sites across an assigned region within the City of New York. Serves as primary support for non-clinical and clinical support activities across assigned testing sites and actively coordinates with the executive team in planning and on operational needs.Manages a group of COVID-19 community testing sites, ensuring that the sites are adequately prepared for and accessible to community members seeking testing and other health care services.Directs site leads, provides guidance and leadership on priorities, manages workflow and evaluates work performance and effectiveness of site staff.Promotes a supportive and transparent team culture.Regularly visits assigned testing sites and participates in operational activities or provides coverage, as needed and quickly adapts to changing priorities and needs to ensure goals are met.Ensures test site staff effectively communicate and demonstrate the System’s acknowledgment and awareness of diverse health-related needs and concerns to patient, family members, caregivers, staff and the community.Maintains liaison between appropriate NYC H + H staff and other City agencies to ensure appropriate staffing, supplies, resources and services for successful and timely site operations.Identifies and analyzes operating problems and determines the appropriate avenues for escalation and mitigation to facilitate and implement effective solutions.Provides timely, routine reporting on a variety of items, including inventory of personal protective equipment and other supplies, non-clinical staffing, and other quantitative or qualitative data, as directed.Minimum Qualifications1. A Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Public, Hospital or BusinessAdministration, Health Care Specialization, Engineering, Social Services or a related discipline; and four(4) years of progressively responsible experience relating to health care program planning, research,design, operations, evaluation and analysis, one (1) year of which must have been in supervision orplanning and/or analysis; or2. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as listed in #1 above;and five (5) years of progressively, responsible experience relating to health care program planning,research, design, operations, evaluation and analysis, one (1) year of which must have been insupervision or planning and/or analysis; or3.
