Position : Customer Service Representative
Job Description : ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming orders via phone, website, and EDI, and transcribe them into the company’s order system.Answer customer inquiries for: order status, product availability, pricing, or direction to other appropriate company employees.Establish new accounts and maintain customer files and information.Send Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Certificates of Analysis (CofA), and tracking information to customers when requested.Perform duties in compliance with an established ISO 9001 system.Engage with management and other departments regarding process improvement and problem solving.ExperienceAt least two years prior customer service experience required.Purchasing experience is a plus.Job RequirementsThe candidate must be able to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Candidate must well-versed in computer-based order entry systems.Mental requirements include general, verbal, and numerical intelligence.Additional InformationThe candidate should submit a resume.Cover letter is optional, but is considered a plus.CompensationEligible for company-wide, performance bonus as well as an excellent benefits package.Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
