In this newly created position, the Data Manager will be integral to enhancing the Evaluation and Quality team at Hudson Guild. The Data Manager will engage in Quality Assurance, Program Evaluation, and data-driven Quality Improvement, with a focus for programming for adults and older adults. This person will continue to help build a culture of data-driven continuous quality improvement by managing program evaluation at the compliance, process, and outputs/outcomes levels, as well as providing staff with easily accessible data summaries and suggested next steps.
POSITION OVERVIEW: Under the supervision of the Director of Evaluation and Quality, the Data Manager is responsible for enhancing the quality of programming and engaging in Quality Assurance, Program Evaluation, and data-driven Quality Improvement, with a focus on the older adult population. The Data Manager will assist in building a culture of data-driven, continuous quality improvement by managing program evaluation and providing staff with easily accessible data summaries and suggestions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The Data Manager should have Bachelors Degree in relevant field, at least 3-5 years of experience in collecting, monitoring, analyzing, synthesizing and reporting data. In addition, the Data Manager must be proficient in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office to create data visualization reports and presentations; have strong oral and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Masters degree in relevant field; Previous experience in program evaluation and quality improvement; Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify measurable goals and evaluation criteria for all program components
Standardize and monitor reliability and validity of data collection and entry
Prepare and present data visualization reports for different levels of staff (leadership, managers, and direct service staff)
Continuously monitor and analyze data in order to provide data-driven recommendations for programming and continuous quality improvement
Support the design and implementation of data collection and evaluation tools (e.g., community assessments, surveys)
Support in the use and updating of data monitoring tools such as online databases, dashboards, Qualtrics, outcomes reports, funder reports, etc.
Create and analyze community assessments and satisfaction surveys to determine participants’ needs and areas for improvement
Engage in ongoing research and provide recommendations on best practices for content of programming and implementation
Identify potential assessments and technology to measure and improve programming
Support in identifying, sequencing, and developing professional development content; create courses for staff capacity building in our Learning Management System (LMS); track staff completion of internal and external trainings
Perform other related duties as assigned
