Position : Deposit Operations Specialist
Job Description : Summary:Provides a wide range of support to Deposit Operation Manager and all other Bank departments in the areas of Deposit Operations, Wire Transfers, Consumer Online Banking, Debit Cards, and ACH.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Deposit Operations Team: Monitor and address all non-post, stop pays, positive pay or NSF items.Process foreign items and returned mail.Handle debit card matters including but not limited to ordering debit cards, disputes, maintenance, hot cards, and pin reorders.Process chargeback’s, ACH items, wires, and CD interest checks in accordance with Bank Policy.Process daily account maintenance requests in accordance with Bank policy and file properly.Process daily reports and settlements as delegated by the Deposit Operations Manager.Perform quality assurance for CIP on new account documents and monitor account exceptions.Monitor online banking reports and activity.Maintain detailed records on all work.Maintain the confidentiality of the Bank’s customers.Remain current on and adhere to all regulatory requirements and training;Process subpoenas, levies, garnishments, and bankruptcy requests.Back up to Treasury Management Department for the daily function and all aspects of PEP+ ACH System of Fiserv.Processing branch capture work for operations department and review of mobile and merchant capture deposits.Perform all other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Effective interpersonal relationships with management and team members;Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately;Basic Mathematical Skills;A thorough understanding and application of all policies, procedures and regulations pertaining to the work of a Deposit Operations Specialist;Ability to operate in a team environment to accomplish shared goals;Ability to effectively manage time as related to daily tasks;Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form;Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a high-pressure environment while maintaining professional demeanor; andAcquire proficiency of the Navigator system and electronic communications.Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Deposit Operations: 2 years (Preferred)Wire Transfer: 1 year (Preferred)FISERV: 1 year (Preferred)PEP+: 1 year (Preferred)ACH: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
