Some flexibility on these dates is available and will be discussed with you if selected for interview.APPLY AT http://www.coolworks.com/alaska-360/job-appThe Dining Room Server is a vital Front-of-House part of our restaurant team, interfacing directly with all guests who are taking part in the Alaskan BBQ buffet as part of the tour/excursion they selected. This position is tasked with the daily execution of the buffet service, sanitation, and guests’ satisfaction as well as taking orders for, transacting, and serving the company’s craft soft drinks (partially canned onsite and in view of the dining area) and non-alcoholic beverage options. .Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesReceives and tends to guests and their requests during lunch service and additional shifts as delegated by the Restaurant Manager.Supports the cooking staff in executing the daily service.Supports the Restaurant Manager in all operational, sanitation, or inventory related matters.Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant and its ancillary spaces.Dishes and cleanliness in the kitchen in tandem with other kitchen staff.Professional ExperienceExperience as a banquet server/barista/counter server desired.Experience in beverage sales a plus.Required Skills & AbilitiesGood interpersonal experience for daily interactions with individual guests and groups.Ability to work as part of a team and not only as part of the cooking staff.Flexibility to work in an ever-changing environment to support the daily schedule.Responsible for cleanliness to ensure an incident free work environment and service.APPLY at http://www.coolworks.com/Alaska-360/job-appJob Types: Full-time, TemporaryPay: $15.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:TipsCOVID-19 considerations:Due to the nature of our industry (serving cruise ship passengers) and the contractual obligations we have on our tours, all employees of Alaska 360 are required to be fully vaccinated against the Covid-19 virusEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
