Job Description : North Allegheny School District, a large suburban district in the Pittsburgh region with over 8,500 students and 1100 employees, has a vacancy for a Director of Technology and Innovation.The Director of Technology and Innovation serves as a creative and dynamic leader to develop and implement a strategic vision in all areas of technology for the District. The Director engages with administrators, educators and support personnel, parents, and students to extend responsible and creative use of technology. The Director is responsible for coordinating the daily activity for the Technology Services Department and shall clearly define the mission of the Department to ensure all members are unified toward a common goal.Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Education or IT field required.Advanced Degree in Educational Technology or related field preferred.Master’s Degree in Educational Administration desired.Five years’ experience in education and/or technology field required.Appointment effective Spring 2022.
