Job Description : Microsoft’s Turn 10 Studios, the developer and creator of the Forza video game franchise on Xbox and PC including the award-winning Forza Motorsport titles and the Forza Horizon open world action racer, is looking for an experienced Diversity & Inclusion Program Manager. At Turn 10, we create one of the most highly rated gaming franchises in the world by nurturing a world-class studio environment in which people can create products our customers love. In the role of Diversity & Inclusion Program Manager, you will be a part of the Chief of Staff/Employee Experience team as a key contributor to our goal of fostering a team culture that empowers every employee to live our purpose, vision and values. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will partner with Turn 10 Studios leadership, act as our Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Executive Sponsor, and work with our various Employee Resource Groups and Xbox D&I teams to develop and rollout innovative and impactful D&I plans and create synergy with D&I investment across Gaming and Microsoft. You will measure and communicate results against committed D&I actions, so that we can ensure meaningful progress towards D&I and business goals. This role requires the ability to be a thought-leader, to educate and influence a team of passionate and engaged people, and to translate strategies into practical and actionable solutions.
The candidate must be a strong communicator, an analytic thinker, and results oriented. This person must be able to solve complicated problems with elegant solutions without being hindered by ambiguity. You must be able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives and, with objectivity and intention, understand differing perspectives and experiences. This role is cross-functional and highly visible with senior leadership and requires the ability to effectively collaborate and inspire others towards action.
Responsibilities
Drive our D&I strategy and initiatives, including creating a backlog of projects, tracking milestones across multiple teams, gathering stakeholder input, and tracking performance to goals
Determine and execute implementation approach for diversity and inclusion activities while ensuring alignment with global strategy. Measure impact and alignment with broader strategy.
Regularly update the business leaders on progress and impact
Translate industry best practices into readily consumable programs and products aligned with business needs
Build trust across a range of levels and disciplines
Identify points within our talent cycles or business processes where it makes sense to embed or integrate D&I practices or mechanisms
Partner with other teams focused on D&I across Xbox and Microsoft, including Gaming for Everyone, HR, Xbox Culture Council, and others, to share, Identify, and implement best practices
Connect and inspire people to initiate communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities
Liaison with our HR Business partners and align the studio work with broader initiatives
Collaborate with Communications lead to design and implement internal and external messaging
Embody our culture and values
Qualifications
5+ years of project / program management experience is required.
Demonstrated ability to drive impact through cross-organizational initiatives.
