The Emergency Preparedness Coordinator is responsible for emergency preparedness training, drills and regulatory compliance. Duties include:
Serving as an advisor to the Safety and Security Manager for emergency preparedness requirements and activities
May provide oversight to other members of the Safety and Security program to ensure job roles relating to Emergency Preparedness once filled
In addition to HAZMAT certification, NIMS (Incident Management) courses 100, 200, 300, 700, and 800 are also required
Required experience included 5 years of Emergency Management/Preparedness, 3 years of Healthcare experience preferred. Performs other duties as assigned.
