Job Description : Experience Old Town Warrenton (EOTW) seeks a self-motivated and enterprising executive director to coordinate and oversee the accredited Main Street program. EOTW is looking for someone tocarry out its mission of ensuring Old Town Warrenton remains a place in which businesses thrive and where visitors and residents love to spend time.The Executive Director of EOTW is responsible for facilitating and promoting revitalizationin Old Town. The Executive Director will work with residents, community leaders, elected officials, and regulators to create programming that benefits the shops, restaurants, and services that make up the Old Town commercial business district.ResponsibilitiesBuild, alongside the board, a vision for Old Town by identifying opportunities to improve the bottom line for businesses in Old Town, create a more picturesque and pedestrian-friendly town, preserve historic resources, and develop events that draw visitors to town.Obtain grant funding for programming and assist the Board with fundraising.Oversee day-to-day management and maintain a physical presence in Old Town.Develop partnerships with local stakeholder organizations and farmers market vendors.Coordinate and communicate with merchants’ organizations, Town of Warrenton, Fauquier County, and Fauquier Chamber of Commerce on EOTW program activities and goals.Ensure EOTW maintains and exceeds program standards required by Virginia Main Street and maintain National Accredited Program status.Maintain EOTW’s web page, social media, and promotions.Manage the budget and finances alongside the Board Treasurer.Prepare for and administer monthly board of directors meetings.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s DegreeDemonstrated leadership of an organization, ideally in the non-profit spaceComfort with digital tools such as Google DriveExperience in community development or historic preservationExperience managing a budgetExcellent written and verbal communications skillsReports To: EOTW Board ChairmanHours of Work: Full Time 40 hours/weekStarting Salary: $55,000 up to $65,000, commensurate with experienceHybrid work schedule of office/work from home. Evening and weekend event coverage required.
