Job Description : EXECUTIVE-PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO CHAIRMAN-CEO AT AN ASSET MANAGEMENT FIRMBase Salary is $125K to $160K (based upon candidate and experience); Plus Discretionary BonusIncredible Organization with Equally Incredible People | Excellent BenefitsRenowned NYC-based Asset Management Firm built on quality research and long-term investing is looking for an experienced Executive/Personal Assistant to support its Chairman & CEO. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating a seamless and efficient day to day process for the CEO. This requires being an excellent problem solver, staying one step ahead, exercising independent judgment, handling confidential information, and managing and running all aspects of CEO’s office and always working to accomplish tasks with a sense of urgency.The assistant can work in a team but also independently and confidently under high pressure. Moreover, the assistant can make quick decisions, multitask, have that 24/7 mentality, and essentially be the right-hand person to the CEO. Building strong relationships, managing and operating in a fluid environment, being resourceful and knowing how to navigate a corporate environment will also be critical to success in this position. It’s critical for the Executive Assistant to understand the CEO’s funds and which analysts research the companies that make up the portfolios. This is a key feature of the role as the CEO will require all notes from analysts for quarterly earnings calls, meeting prep, as well as research from new companies. It is the Executive Assistant’s duty to gather this information to make sure the CEO is always prepared for all calls and meetings.The assistant helps the CEO through a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: scheduling meetings, working with brokers/companies to register CEO for conferences, investor days, and any meetings at conferences, working with analysts and other CEO’s to help schedule meetings both in and out of office, maintaining watchlists for the portfolio, ordering catering, obtaining and filing company information.You will be reporting directly to the CEO & Chairman, and Head of Research Assistants while working with the CEO’s second and third assistant and keeping an open line of communication while working cohesively. This position will be a part of the Human Resource & Operations department.Currently in the office 5-days per week so you can acclimate to the firm’s culture, etc. After 1-3 months (tba), possible transition to hybrid model.
