Position : Fedex Ground Delivery Driver
Job Description : We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver age 21 or over to represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. You will sort and route your deliveries then deliver them to customer locations around the local area. We expect you to be courteous and professional when interacting with customers. Neat appearance since customer contact is required.ResponsibilitiesDeliver a wide variety of items to different addresses on a given routeFollow routes and time scheduleLoad, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicleAsk for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaintsCollect paymentFollow DOT regulations and safety standardsSkillsProven working experience as a Delivery DriverValid professional driver’s license (No CDL required)Excellent organizational and time management skillsGood driving record with no traffic violationsHigh school degreeAbility to lift 50 lbs. or the ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam (MedCard).
