Job Description : We are hiring to fill two field service positions in Anchorage and Fairbanks. We are looking for the right people to join our team. Is safety one of your aptitudes? We do jobs in remote places well.Rotating Services, LLC started in 1999 in response to the need for turbine repair and maintenance on oil fields of the North Slope. Over time, we expanded our services to industrial lifting equipment and small rotating equipment. We developed an industry-leading rigid inspection criteria to ensure customer satisfaction with safety, integrity, quality, and efficiency. Compressed air systems power many critical manufacturing operations and processes. They are vital to the productivity of many industries and greatly contribute to the overall economy.As a Field Service Technician, you will develop expertise in the maintenance and repair of compressed air systems. Field Service Technicians work directly with customers to provide solutions to a wide array of potentially complicated field issues involving mechanical and electrical failures. The successful person will have:· An aggressive commitment to achieving success· A strong sense of urgency to resolve customer issues· Ability to work independently· Professional appearance and conduct on site and in the office· A dedication to perform in a business culture centered around safety, quality, and integrity· Knowledge in blue prints, tools, equipment, materials, methods, and standard practices for industrial facility support.This job will entail following manufacturer and government specifications and regulations to ensure mechanical and electrical equipment is safe and built to code. Drug testing is required to meet guidelines. We are willing to train the right person.Requirements:· Technical knowledge and interpersonal skills typically gained through completion of technical school or related experience· High level of analytical ability in order to find solutions to technical problems both mechanical and electrical· Knowledge of pneumatic and or hydraulic systems· Ability to read and comprehend written technical information in the form of technical manuals, schematics, parts books, and relevant publications· Excellent written and oral communication skills· Commitment to a superior level of customer service that promotes goodwill between the company, customer, and coworkers· Availability to work overtime and travel on a regular basis· This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 lbs.· Valid driver’s license and safe driving recordBenefits: After 90 days you will be entitled to 11 Paid holidays a year, 15 days PTO, health benefit which provides you with ability to buy health insurance, and a simple IRA that is matched by the company up to 3%.Starting Pay:$25 to 27/Hr depending on experience, with the opportunity to earn more based on utilization.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hourBenefits:Paid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)Willingness to travel:25% (Preferred)Work Location: One location
