Job Description : We help Financial Advisors manage their office and serve their clients. We are looking for candidates who have the following assets:Strong work ethic and can work proactively identify potential problems;self-starter with a short learning curve.Ability to work independently, utilizing good common sense and resourcefulness.Exceptional computer and internet skills.Well-organized and ability to manage competing priorities.Detail-oriented with exceptional ability to follow-up.Thorough working knowledge of competency in use of Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office Suite applications, in particular Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Outstanding written, phone and email communication.Experience working as an administrative assistant and/or financial services is a plus!Must pass employment, FBI & BCI background, fingerprinting checks.The primary job function of our Account Assistant will be to assist Account Managers who service our client’s custodial accounts.Duties include, but not limited to: Open, close, maintain and service investment accounts (i.e. Joint and Individual Accounts, trusts, IRA’s, 401K’s and other retirement forms through TD Ameritrade, Fidelity, Schwab, SEI and other custodians.) via online, Docusign or manually.Other account tasks include calculating IRA’s Required Minimum Distributions (RMD), processing transfers, cashiering and other money movement tasks, updating account beneficiaries, processing death packages, updating accounts, troubleshooting, and more.Track and troubleshoot deposits/transfer/etc.Check client balances for monthly auto‐withdrawalsConfirm trade settlements and withdrawalsProcess monthly and quarterly statements, invoices and portfolio reportsRun reports in MorningStar, eMoney, Orion, Black Diamond and other Industry specific software.Handle NGO’s and other client service issuesUpload management fees/invoicingCalculate cash flow reports, create, maintain and/or update Excel spreadsheetsCreate and maintain client CRMCreate and update Excel spreadsheetsAssist with daily phone, email and fax correspondence and communicationsType up AgendasSchedule meetingsCreate workflows and processesAssist staff members with other projects and tasks and cover during vacations and emergenciesJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible scheduleSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayApplication Question(s):Do you live within 60 miles of the Akron, 44314 area?Experience:Adminstrative | Office | Client Service: 3 years (Required)Language:English (Required)Work Location:Multiple locationsCompany’s website:www.totaloffice.ccCompany’s Facebook page:https://www.facebook.com/totalofficeincBenefit Conditions:Waiting period may applyOnly full-time employees eligibleWork Remotely:YesWork Location: Multiple Locations
